An astrophotography exhibition will be on display at Cork School of Music on Union Quay from May 23 to June 18. The photos are all the work Cork Astronomy Club members.
Main picture: Thibault Sergent took this image of Corona Australis in La Palma, in a part of the sky not seen from Ireland. The image is a stack of 40 photos of 180 seconds.
The display will be in the atrium, a pleasant airy space, open to the public at the following times:
Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturday 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.
Sunday 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.

Immediately next door to the exhibition space, and visible in the background of the small picture, is the cunningly named Off Quay Bistro where visitors can enjoy coffee or a meal Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
