Dr Heda Agic (see photo) lectures in UCC’s School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences.   In this lecture she will describe how life can have survived during the Snowball Earth geological periods, when it is thought that the planet’s surface was nearly entirely frozen, with little or no liquid water exposed.
